The support of the highlanders, Daniel Liener-Brown, has been suspended for three weeks after being convicted of a dangerous game in the Super Rugby Pacific game of his team against the blues.

Liener-Brown was declared guilty of dangerous contact in a Ruck.

It was carded yellow for reckless cleaning in the 59th minute of the match in Dunedin. He was later updated to a red card for the EMP.

Despite having only 13 players at one stage, the highlanders managed to maintain To overcome blues 29-21.

The Judicial Committee ruled that the dirty game act deserved an average range entry point of six weeks/matches.

Lienert-Brown, thirty-two, accepted that he committed a dirty play act and together with mitigating factors such as his disciplinary record, remorse and conduct, the judicial committee applied the total reduction of 50 percent in the sanction.

Lienert-Brown also had permission to request participation in the Training Intervention Program for World Rugby as a substitute for the final party of the sanction.

The parties of Super Rugby Pacific against Moana Pasifika, the Hurricanes and the Reds of Queensland will be lost.
