The 86 -year -old pensioner was seriously injured in a horror accident in Junction

A pensioner was seriously injured in a horror accident in Warrington last Wednesday (February 19). The 86 -year -old man was urgently taken to the hospital from the scene after an accident with another vehicle.

The police and the paramedics were called to the incident at the intersection of Southworth Lane and Delph Lane around 7.15 am a silver 2008 Peugeot 2008 was involved in the Smash with a blue Ford Fiesta.

The Peugeot driver, an 86 -year -old local man, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, where he remains, said Cheshire Constabulary.

The party driver, a 60 -year -old man from Widnes, was also injured during the incident and taken to the hospital. It is not believed that their wounds change their lives.

Consultations in relation to the collision are ongoing, and the police now urges the occupants of a Tesla, who may have witnessed to present themselves.

DC Emma Crabb said: “The Tesla was not involved in the collision, but it can have CCTV on board that has captured the incident. The driver can also help us with our research on the cause of the collision if they witnessed it. I would urge the driver to contact, as they can have information that will help us. ”

The officers urge anyone who has witnessed the incident, or any person with images of Dashcam from the area on the morning of February 19, to be presented.
