Baltimore Ravens GM addresses Justin Tucker’s accusations

In his first public comments on the situation, the general manager of the Baltimore Ravens, Eric Decosta, reaffirmed that the team is taking very seriously the accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior against star kick Justin Tucker.

“The accusations are serious and worrying, the amount of accusations is serious and worrying,” Decosta told journalists on Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. “I think we are lucky that the League is doing an investigation. We will wait as patiently as we can, for as much information as we can, and we will make our decisions based on that.”

On January 30, Banner de Baltimore published an article in which six local masseuses accused Tucker of sexually inappropriate behavior during the sessions. Since then, that number has increased to 16 in subsequent reports, and two spas said they were forbidden to return completely.

Previously, the Ravens only issued a brief statement shortly after the initial report, claiming that they were aware of the accusations and took them seriously. Tucker has He denied all the accusations against him.

Decosta also confirmed that he has met with Tucker, but chose to maintain the details of that conversation in private.
