30 years later, Nigeria Airways staff still has no rights

The workers of the missing Nigeria Airways have not yet been paid their total right 30 years after the liquidation, the president, the Council Council and negotiation (JCNC), said Héctor Nnadi.

Nnadi, who asked President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the persistent situation, said that the significant contributions of aviation unions in the industry panorama configuration cannot be exaggerated.
Speaking in the 11th edition of Aviation World Week and Night Award, Nnadi said: “I would like to recognize the tireless efforts of our aviation workers, who fight day and night to guarantee the safety and efficiency of our aviation industry. “As we met today, we remember the important contributions of aviation unions to shape the panorama of our industry. These unions have not only been at the forefront of advocating the welfare of workers, but have also played a vital role in promoting collaboration and ensuring that the aviation sector continues to evolve according to national and global standards. “
Speaking about the issue of the event, “the role of aviation unions in the support of galvanization workers to achieve ministerial mandates,” JCNC president said “highlights a crucial aspect of our industry: the powerful connections between The unions, the workforce and the successful implementation of key government and ministerial policies.

“We recognize that the aviation industry is a dynamic sector. This implies that our economy, security and national development directly affects. Also speaking at the event, Aviation and Aerospace Development Minister, Festus Keyamo, represented by the permanent secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana promised the continuous support of the unions in the aviation sector.
