Matt Kuhnemann: Australia Spinner has a clear bowling action

Australia’s left arm spinner, Matt Kuhnemann, has had his bowling alley clear by the International Crickt Council (ICC).

The 28 -year -old, who has played nine times for Australia, was reported for suspicious action during the second test against Sri Lanka in Galle earlier this month.

Subsequent independent tests have shown that the curve in its elbow falls within 15 degrees allowed, leaving it free to continue playing bowling.

“Matt pleases us that this matter is now resolved,” said Ben Oliver of the national teams of the General Executive Manager of Cricket Australia.

“It has been a challenging period for Matt, however, it has taken exceptionally well.

“He has had the full support of Australian Cricket and can now advance to the next phase of his international career with great confidence.”

Kuhnemann took 16 wickts in the two test series against Sri Lanka and has 25 in five tests. He has also played four one -day international.
