Official Watchdog urges the Supreme Court not to let Trump dismiss it

After kicking the can along the way, the United States Supreme Court still faces a high profile confrontation between the Department of Justice of President Donald Trump and the head of a federal surveillance agency that he wants to say goodbye.

On Thursday morning, the special lawyer Hampton Dellinger told the Supreme Court to stop the intervention in the case after a federal judge sitting in Washington extended an order that blocked the White House to remove Dellinger from the Special Advisor Office. The OSC is an independent agency that investigates the complaints of federal employees, including the reprisals of complainants, and has the authority to present cases before a meeting of disputes in the workplace.
