New Delhi train station stamped: the Supreme Court dismissed Pil seeking the CBI investigation

The Supreme Court dismissed on Friday a Pil presented with respect to Stampede at the New Delhi train station on February 15Looking for instructions for a case to be registered by the Central Research Office (CBI).

A bank led by Judge Br Gavai dismissed the Pil, who also sought the constitution of an agency to coordinate with the states for the management of multitudes and the prevention of Stampedes.

During the hearing, the petitioner’s lawyer argued that the number of deaths reported 18 was inaccurate. In addition, he declared that the railroads had issued a notice to eliminate videos related to the incident of the social media platform X, which according to him was a violation of the rights of people.

The bank observed orally that ex-gravia compensation had been granted to the family members of the victims who died. In addition, if someone had not received compensation, they could approach the Court and seek the same.

The court also questioned whether the petitioner claimed that the government was not taking any measure.

The Pil sought instructions for the CBI to present a state report and carry out an in -depth investigation under the supervision of a retired judge from the Supreme Court.

In addition, he sought the constitution of an agency headed by a retired judge from the Supreme Court to coordinate with different authorities to administer crowds and avoid prints in overcrowded places.

In addition, the PIL requested the implementation of the 2014 guidelines of the National Authority for Disaster Management 2014 for an integrated and structural approach for the management of multitudes and disasters in the Indian railway stations, subway stations, temples, religious meetings and special places of festivals.
