Keweenaw County under a coastal flooding warning until Friday night

The National Meteorological Service issued a coastal flooding notice on Friday at 9:50 AM is valid between 4 pm Est and 11 pm Est for Keweenaw County.

The weather service says: “Minor coastal floods are expected.”

“Flood batch, parks and roads with only possible isolated road closures,” describes the weather service. “If you need to travel, allow extra time since some roads can be closed. Do not drive around the barricades or by unknown depth water. Take the necessary measures to protect property prone to floods.”
