‘You lack respect, I can’t tolerate it’ – Firstpost

The former Cricket player from India, Yograj Singh, had recently criticized Akram, as well as Shoaib Akhtar, another iconic pacemakers, for destroying Pakistan’s team after his recent defeats against New Zealand and India and his posterior
First round output since then Champions Trophy.

Yograj, father of the iconic All -terrain Indian Yuvraj Singh, advised both Akram and Akhtar to organize a training camp for the players and help the team win a World Cup in the future, while adding that he was willing to assume responsibility himself.

Akram, who collected 916 wickts in an international career that covers almost two decades, responded to the comments, not to mention yograj directly, explaining how Waqar had been “missed” during his various periods as a coach.

“People still criticize me or try that all they do is talk and nothing else. When I see Pakistan coaches, I see Waqar here, who has been fired several times after becoming a coach, and his condition. You lack respect, I can’t tolerate it, ”said Akram in the Camerino DP World Show in ten sports.

Waqar initially served as the bowling coach of the Pakistan team shortly after his retirement in 2006, and then served as a chief coach in two different periods: between 2010 and 2011 and later between 2014 and 2016. However, the former pacemaker and the captain’s periods as a chief coach did not end in a good note on any of the occasions.

‘I’m not going to take such insults’

Akram added that he was willing to help Pakistan’s Cricket, but he was not going to tolerate the type of insults that Waqar had to endure.

“I want to help Pakistan’s Cricket. Why do you want to pay me? I am available without cost. If you organize a camp and want it to be there, I will. If you want me to spend time with Cricket players before a great tournament, I will.

“But I am already 58 years old, I will not take such insults that you do. I can’t lead a stressful life at this age, ”added Akram in the program.

Pakistan had appointed former Australian pacemakers Jason Gillespie and former Sour-Africano opener Gary Kirsten as coach of red ball and white ball chief coach, respectively, last year. However, neither of them lasted a year at work, with
Kirsten putting their papers after only six months in October and
Gillespie following his example in December.

The former Pacer AAQIB Javed, who is also part of the PCB selection committee, later assumed the position of chief coach, although interim in a formats.
