DPP Ingonga FEED in public sector digital transformation awards

The Director of Public Prosecutor’s Office (DPP) Renson Ingonga is among the leaders who have been exhausted in the Public Digital Transformation Awards Acting 2025 in Mombasa.

Ingonga was exhausted among the main executive directors after emerging secondly in the CEO category of the year.

It was recognized by the successful deployment of the UADILIFU case management system in the office of the Prosecutor’s Office.

Speaking after receiving the prize, Ingonga said that his office will continue to take the lead in the digital transformation.

“We are excited about digital transformation, and I assure you that the Office of the Director of Public Procedure will be at the forefront of adopting the digital age,” he said.

The UADILIFU case administration system is a digital solution that has revolutionized the way in which ODPP handles case files, allowing prosecutors to process files more efficiently, drastically reducing response times.

The system has improved the working relationship between the MDGs and the Judiciary, particularly with the presentation of load sheets and promised to guarantee its successful deployment nationwide.

The event was chaired by the secretary of the Cabinet for Information, Communication and Digital Economy William Kabogo.

In his comments, Kabogo promised to lead the digital transformation into the government by introducing paperless correspondences.

The DPP arrived in second place in a category of six nominees after a rigorous process of selecting a team of public and private sector judges.

The Kenyan Income Authority (KRA) for the Fiscal Amnesty Chapa Reset Anza Uupya Campaign, Kenya Reinsurance Corporation for online cyber security for Kenya Re and the State Department for Immigration Services and Citizens for the Smart Immigration Hub services were also recognized.

DTPS Awards recognize public sector organizations that have constantly exploited technology to improve their effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and provision of citizens.

The first edition was held in 2024.

The prize comes just a year after the DPP was elected president of the Association of Prosecutors of Africa (APA) in Morocco, and two months after he was awarded with the head of the Burning Lanzra (CBS) by President William Ruto.

Present at the event were the main secretaries John Tonui (ICT and Digital Economy), John Mutahi (Economic Planning) Salome Wanjiru (Correctional Services) and Evelyn Cheluge, General Director of Immigration and Citizen Services.
