Portland’s father, seriously injured teenage daughter in the snow motorcycle clash against the driver of the SW Trees of Bles

Bles, Oregon. (KTVZ) -The Thursday said Thursday that the automated notification of a cell phone and a witness report led rescuers to the scene of a snow motorcycle accident in a Century Drive Ofts tree on Thursday who seriously injured a Portland man and her 14-year-old daughter, said the sheriff agents of the Dracking County.

The dispatators of the 911 of the County of Drays were contacted around 10:15 am on Thursday by a third -party monitoring service that had received an automated notification of accidents from a cell phone application belonging to a victim of snow motorcycle clash, the agents said.

Moments later, a witness made a second call to 911, informing that two people had suffered significant injuries after hitting a snow motorcycle in a tree.

Using electronic data from the accident notification service and information provided by the witness, DCSO search and rescue volunteers were deployed at the scene of the scene, along Snowmobile Trail 25 near Milepost 17.5 in Century Drive.

Sar teams located a 51 -year -old man and his 14 -year -old daughter, both from Portland, who had suffered serious injuries while traveling on a rental snow motorcycle. The Sheriff’s office did not release their names.

The doctors quickly stabilized both patients and requested an air ambulance for transport. Airlink was sent to help.

Using the search and rescue of DCSO “snow bulance”, the injured father and daughter were taken to an ambulance of Bless Fire & Rescue. Portland’s man was transferred by Airlink to St. Charles Bend, while his daughter was carried by the blesy ambulance to the hospital.

“This incident highlights the importance of emergency notification technology and the rapid response capabilities of our search and rescue equipment,” said the Drawing County Sheriff, Kent Van der Kamp.

“Our SAR volunteers, 911 dispatators and emergency medical partners worked without problems to ensure that this family received the urgent attention they needed,” he said. “The most important thing, when renting snow motorcycles or other motorized recreational vehicles, always obtain adequate use instructions and drive within their capabilities and experience.”

The County De Deshuitos Sheriff’s Office reminded outdoor enthusiasts who always have caution when recreating in the country, carrying emergency communication devices when possible, sharing their routes with others and dressing accordingly.
