Rowley Crash: Man and woman in his 80 serious injured

An 80 -year -old woman and an 82 -year -old man were seriously injured after a two -vehicle accident in East Yorkshire.

Humberside police said the officers had been called to the collision, involving a red Mercedes and a truck, at the B1230, at the Brick Dike Lane crossing, in Rowley at 15:40 GMT on Friday.

The woman and the man, the driver and the passenger, respectively, of the Mercedes, were taken to the hospital after suffering serious injuries.

A 64 -year -old woman, the truck, was also treated at the hospital for minor injuries, police said.
