New York teacher arrested after the police find thousands of children’s pornographic images

A mathematics teacher from New York City was arrested after the authorities found him at least 1,000 photos and videos of child pornography, including some with children up to three years.

Ross Lanvin, 41, supposedly used a false name to create a Google account to store its growing collection between September 2021 and last December, Federal prosecutors claim.

That month, Google marked about 150 images and 90 videos that contain explicit images to the National Center for missing and exploited children, which then sent the archives to federal researchers.

The authorities soon learned that Google’s account in question, under the name of ‘Ryan Ryan’, was verified with a telephone number belonging to Lanvin, and that the multiple IP address that was used to access the burner account also belonged to Lanvin.

It was even linked to several accounts, including one belonging to a [email protected], and was previously used to seek plans for lessons and teaching resources, according to the criminal complaint.

Once, Lanvin even used the Google AI Chatbot Gemini to find mathematics problems to make a questionnaire, and in May, Google’s account was accessed from the New York City Education Department device, prosecutors say.

At the same time, Lanvin also supposedly used the Google account to look for ‘Boys Gay Teen Boys’ and navigate a porn site.

When the authorities recorded the Lanvin apartment, they allegedly found more videos on their iPad, including one that shows a child of approximately six years lying in a bed, completely naked with their hands behind the head, and a video of an adult man who manipulated a six -year -old boy in different positions while penetrating the child.

Ross Lanvin, 41, faces two positions of possession of child pornography, including images and videos of prepubescent minors and minors who had not reached 12 years of age.

Lanvin finally confirmed that the account was his and admitted access to child pornography, federal prosecutors say.

Now faces two positions of possession of child pornography, including images and videos of minors and prepubescent minors who had not reached 12 years of age. Those charges come with a maximum prayer of 20 years after bars.

“As he claimed, Ross Lanvin, who had close contact with students as a teacher in a public school in Manhattan, possessed hundreds of images and videos of child pornography,” said US prosecutor. Uu. Matthew Podolsky in a statement.

“Together with our partners in the New York Police and the Office of the Special Investigation Commissioner for the New York School District, we will continue working to stop those who have child pornography, especially when these people work in positions that give access to children, some of the most vulnerable members of our community.”

Lanvin was recently listed as a professor of sixth grade mathematics at the MS 256 Lafayette Academy at the Upper West Side in New York, The New York Post informs.

Apparently he worked at school from August 2020 until last year.

The outlet had found a video on the Instagram page of the school since March 2023 Subtitulato ‘Mr. Lanvin ‘, who allegedly showed the teacher on stage in an event that the school’s director and student broke a plate of whipped cream on his face.

That video seems to have been shot down since then.

But another video of the event, seen by Dailymail.com, showed him talking to a student while someone else read the rules for the Pi Day event.

The records obtained by Post Show Lanvin have been on the payroll of the city department of the city since 2016 and still has active licenses for grades one to six, as well as bilingual education.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Education told The Post that the charges against Lanvin were “extremely worrying.”

She said she has now been “reallocated from students pending the result of the arrest.

“If you are convicted, we will continue the termination,” he said.

Lanvin was released from custody on February 18 with a bail of $ 75,000 and must return to the court this month.
