Hannibal Man, Palmyra Women

Palmyra, Mo. – A man from Hannibal and a woman from Palmyra suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Saturday morning south of Palmyra.

The Missouri state patrol accident reported that a 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north in US 61 near the business intersection 61 at 1:49 am, when he could not negotiate a curve, he left the left side of the road and reached a signal. Both occupants were expelled.

The driver, a 54 -year -old Hannibal man, was taken by the ambulance of Marion County and then transferred by Air Evac to the University Hospital in Columbia to be treated by serious injuries.

The Passenger, a 27 -year -old Palmyra woman, was taken by the ambulance of Marion County and then flown by the Survival Flight to Columbia University Hospital to be treated by serious injuries.

Neither the driver nor the passenger carried a security device.
