Severely injured boy after being hit by a car in Queensgate

Cincinnati – A minor has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a driver in Queensgate, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

It happened just before Monday 8 am near the intersection of Linn and W. 8th Street.

According to CPD, the child was taken to Cincinnati’s children’s hospital with a serious injury.

The police have not released the age and identity of the child.

Part of the road on W. 8th Street closed temporarily while the officers investigated.

Police advised drivers to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
