Two adults, 1 child seriously injured in a shock in OSR near Normrangee

Bryan, Texas (KBTX) -Tres people, including an 8-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries in a frontal collision on Monday morning near Normrangee, according to the Texas Public Security Department (DPS).

The accident occurred in OSR to about two miles west of Normrangee around 7:30 am

Texas DPS launched that the driver of a GMC Sierra truck in the west direction tried to pass another vehicle on the road and began traveling on the lanes to the east. It was then that the truck crashed with a Chevrolet traverse straight.

Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were transferred to St. Joseph’s in Bryan.

The child, who was a passenger in the traverse, was transferred by helicopter to a hospital in the forests.

No names of those involved are shared.

Texas DPS is still investigating.
