Minneapolis police investigates the shooting that seriously injured Monday

A man is seriously injured after a shooting in Minneapolis on Monday night.

Around 7:16 PM, Minneapolis officers and the Park Police responded to a shooting in the 50th Avenue North block, according to a Minneapolis police spokesman.

Within a residence in that block, the officers found a man with a potentially deadly bag.

The man was taken to the North Memorial Hospital to receive treatment. His age and identity are unknown at this time, according to the police.

A news photographer of 5 eye witnesses on the scene captured a large police presence and crime scene.

Researchers are working to determine what led to shooting. There have been no arrests.
