Case against SPB Azmi leader for calling Aurengzeb a “good administrator”

Maharashtra police have registered a case against the Samajwadi party leader, Abu Azmi, about his comments about the ruler Mogol Aurengzeb. The MLA of the Samajwadi party had declared during an interaction of the media in the Marine Drive area that Aungzeb was a good administrator.

The case has been presented at the Wagle Estate Police Station under sections BNS 299, 302, 356 (1) and 356 (2), after a complaint of the deputy of Shiv Sena Naresh Mhash.

On Monday, Mhaske arrived at the Wagle Estate police station to file a complaint against him. Speaking to the media, Mhaske said that Abu Azmi “has no right to stay in India.”

“A case of sedition against Abu Azmi must be presented. He has no right to stay in India. Aurengzeb, which destroyed thousands of Hindu temples, tortured women and tortured Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Eknath ShindeHe has already demanded this morning that there is a case of sedition against him. Today we have come here to present that case, “Mhaske told journalists.

Abu Azmi defends his comments on Aurengzeb

After the reaction, Azmi defended his comments, stating that Aurengzeb had also destroyed the mosques along with the temples. He affirmed that the administration of Emperor Mogol included 34% of Hindus, and many of his advisors were Hindus. He urged people not to give the issue a community angle.

“If Aurangzeb destroyed the temples, he also destroyed the mosques. If he had been against Hindus, 34% of his administration would not have been Hindu, and his advisors would not have been Hindus. It is true that India was a golden sparrow during his rule.

Azmi also declared that the struggles of historical power among the kings were not of a religious nature and argued that he had not made any comments against the “Hindu brothers.”
