EPL: Owen Hargreaves reveals Ten Hag’s concern for Manchester United player

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves claims manager Erik ten Hag is “concerned” about Rasmus Hojlund’s workload ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham United this weekend.

Hargreaves was speaking after Manchester United’s 1-1 Europa League draw against Fenerbahce on Thursday.

The Danish international featured in the Europa League clash when he came off the bench to replace Joshua Zirkzee in the second half.

Speaking on TNT Sports, the former England midfielder said: “He (Ten Hag) is worried about Hojlund and his minutes, he knows he needs him for West Ham at the weekend.

“In the end it was a fair result. I don’t think United can expect to go there and win right now, given their form.

“But clearly three points after three (Europa League) games are not enough.”
