Murdered woman, three other wounds in a crash near Ionia

Orange TWP. -A Woman of Saranac was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a frontal accident in the M-66 south of Ionia on Wednesday night.

The State Police with the Lakeview Post said in a statement on X that a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old man from Portland was traveling south by M-66 near Grand River around 6:30 pm, when he crossed the northern lane and hit and hit a vehicle north in front.

The 31 -year -old Saranac woman was driving to the north was killed, and a 32 -year -old man and a 2 -year -old girl in her vehicle were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Portland’s man was also hospitalized with injuries, state police said.
