Why I do not intervene in my father’s crack with Governor Sani – Bello El -rufai

Bello El-Rufai says he is not happy with the crack between his father, Nasir El-Rufai, and Governor Uba Sani of the state of Kaduna.

The Junior El-Rufai represents the federal constituency of Kaduna North in the House of Representatives, Abuja.

His father was the governor of Kaduna for eight years until 2023, but is locked in a bitter conflict with his selected successor, Mr. Sani.

The legislator lamented that he is helpless to intervene in the situation.

Speaking in a BBC Hausa program, Mahangar Zamani, on Friday, said that he was concentrating on his work in Abuja and that he would not be involved in the subject between his father and his successor.

When asked if he was willing to mediate the dispute, he said that his approach was to fulfill his legislative responsibilities.

“My father is my hero, I admire him for political guidance and support. Nothing will replace it, and I will always be by your side.

“Some friendships are not destined to be forever, they can break. If marriages can be broken, friendships can also, ”he said.

“His altercation is for them, I don’t have to get involved. My concerns are my constituents and that is what I am focusing, to fulfill your mandate. “

In the recent investigation of some officials who served under his father for the government of Sani, the legislator said: “It is not bad to investigate, but it must be done with a clear intention and not humiliate anyone.

“If you are doing it for selfish reasons, Allah will judge. Allah will forgive his fragilities, but he will not overlook the damage that inflicts someone, ”he said.
