Boy, 12, found seriously injured in Kidderminster Street

Police are asking witnesses after a 12 -year -old boy was seriously injured in Kidderminster.

The officers said he was taken to the Royal Worcester hospital with a “significant head injury” after being found at the crossing of Wilton Avenue and Franche Road between 18:30 and 19:00 GMT on Sunday.

The child’s bicycle was also found in a hedge, said West Mercia police.

It was not yet known how it was injured and the investigations are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
