Two teenagers accused Hoot Wendy’s who seriously injured 18 years

Two teenagers have been accused in the December shooting in Hoover who left an 18 -year -old boy critically injured.

The Hoover Police said Wednesday that Lanell Joseph Pratt Jr., 18, from Pleanta Grove, and a 17 -year -old boy from Fairfield have been accused of attempted murder.

The name of the 17 -year -old is not being released by the police due to his age, but Lieutenant Daniel Lowe said he is accused as an adult.

The victim was taken to the UAB hospital but serious injuries, but could recover, Lowe said.

The Jefferson County District Office first issued an order for the 17 -year -old suspect. He was arrested by Hoover Detectives on February 3.

Pratt was arrested on February 7 by the Regional Fugitive Task Force of the Mariscal Coast of the United States Gulf for an unrelated robbery charge.

On Tuesday, Lowe said, the district prosecutor’s office issued the order of murder attempt against Pratt.

The bonus for both teenagers is set at $ 60,000

Lowe said the investigation is ongoing and is likely to be more arrests.
