The United Kingdom’s flight compensation law, which is very similar to the EU version, applies to any person on a flight that is:

  • Leaving a United Kingdom airport on any airline, or
  • arriving at a United Kingdom airport in an EU or the United Kingdom airline; either
  • Arriving at an EU airport in an airline in the United Kingdom.
