On Saturday, the workers received an email that told them to document five things they achieved last week.

In the email, Elon Musk said that those who do not respond at midnight on Monday will risk losing their jobs.

Jim Swartz is the president of the Local CEF 2823, who represents the employees of the Regional Office of Cleveland Veterans Administration: “They are taking a chainsaw when they need a scalpel. I spent several years in the army to defend our nation against this type of behavior, ”said Swartz.

The Central Office of Veterans Affairs has told its employees that they need to meet and respond to email.

“Stop losing money, doubling the work of supervisors. We have supervisors. We have performance standards. They measure our work daily. If you want, they can measure it per minute. Why are we going through this, except for an intimidation tactic in the hope that they can scare people of their work? “Swartz said.

Other federal employees have similar fears. A local postal mail from the United States told 19 News that he doesn’t know much, but there was a lot of talk about the letter at work on Monday morning.

Other federal employees in the Northeast of Ohio include the John Glenn Research Center of the NASA.

A spokesman tells 19 News that they do not require any employee to respond. Instead, NASA’s leadership is handling it.
