The Commonwealth Development and Development Office (FCDO) issued a new warning after several tourists fell seriously ill or died in a popular tourist destination. The FCDO said there have been a series of deaths in Türkiye due to the consumption of illegally produced local spirits.

The Council, updated on Friday, states: “There has been an increase in the number of deaths and serious diseases in Turkey, even in Ankara and Istanbul, caused by drinking illegally produced local spirits and counterfeit brand alcohol.”

Those are currently or who plan to visit, Türkiye urges precautions.

These include buying alcohol only from licensed plugs, ensuring that the bottles of the bottles do not break, avoid bottles with low quality labels or incorrect spelling, and the direction of homemade alcoholic beverages.

If you or someone with whom you fall after consuming alcohol, you should seek urgent medical attention.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also continues to remember the titles of passports of the United Kingdom that their passport must have at least 150 remaining days from the date of arrival, and at least one full blank page.

The guide also adds: “If you enter a land border, make sure that officials stamp and dates their passport at the crossroads of the border. Consult your travel provider so that your passport and other travel documents meet the requirements.

“It renews your passport if necessary. Input will be denied if you do not have a valid travel document or try to use a passport that has been informed lost or stolen.”
