Yhwach is about to become all-powerful

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 30 continues the fight to keep the King of Souls alive. With Ichigo accidentally lands the blow. that would break the seal around the king, Ukitake had been doing his best to keep the Soul King stable using the power of Mimihagi that rested within him. It is a full arm of the Soul King and was therefore able to repel Yhwach for a short time. But this was clearly only temporary as Yhwach was able to break through Mimihagi’s defenses in no time. And that’s why it will be much more dangerous.

In the episode, Yhwach is able to break through Mimihagi’s defenses and is therefore able to deal the final blow to the King of Souls. Following Uryu’s use of the Vollstandig form to eliminate Ichigo (a form The Thousand Year Blood War arc was never revealed in the original manga’s release.), Yhwach is driven by the other Sternritter to eliminate the Soul King. Shrouded in darkness, the post-credits scene sees only a few creepy eyes opening in the black void. This is setting up the debut of Yhwach’s purest and most lethal form in the series yet.

What is the Almighty Yhwach?

Yhwach’s hidden power is “Almighty”, a power he mocked and allowed him to see everything that is happening around him and everything that will happen. It’s kind of a broken ability compared to all the other powers we’ve seen the Quincies use so far, and now it’s about to be even more dangerous as Yhwach activates his purest form with this ability. The eyes covering his body reflect the fact that they are now fully open and thus he can fully tap into the power he had been holding back before.

Until now, the entire anime had been teasing how Yhwach was intentionally holding back because of his plans for the future. It won’t be until now that you will be free to do whatever you want as your full power and the scope of your vision is revealed. This is Yhwach at his true ability, and we’ll get to see what that leads to in the final fights of bleach The anime continues in the next episodes. Needless to say, Yhwach will be the toughest enemy Ichigo and the others have fought so far.
