This monitor contains a gaming PC with a full-size Nvidia GeForce graphics card

Why take up valuable desk space with a huge gaming computer tower, when could you put everything on your monitor? This new prototype machine from Erazer, a Medion brand that is itself owned by Lenovo, shows the potential for building an all-in-one PC and monitor, and it’s all based on desktop components, including a Zotac Nvidia GeForce RTX full size. 4070 Ti graphics card.

While you can ride many of the best mini gaming pc Designed on the back of a monitor using a VESA mount, these machines are typically based on stripped-down laptop hardware, often with integrated GPUs. However, the idea behind this Erazer platform is that it still incorporates full fat. PC gaming hardwareincluding a NVIDIA GPU, which means you don’t have to compromise on frame rate.

The machine was stained from French tech site Hardware & Co at Paris Gaming Week and shows off an AIO PC design built into a large bezel surrounding the monitor. Remove the back, as shown in the image below, and you can see the innards, which are surprisingly powerful.

The star of the show is the full-size graphics card, which sits vertically thanks to a PCIe riser on the left, giving it plenty of breathing room through the vents on the back. The exposed card is a Zotac Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070Ti Trinity Black Edition, which is a massive card measuring 306.8mm wide (or tall in this case) and taking up 2.5 slots, so there’s clearly enough physical space to mount a really powerful GPU on this platform.

Meanwhile, the motherboard is a Gigabyte B760-I Aorus Pro mini-ITX model for Intel LGA1700 CPUs and uses a low profile. cpu cooler. The motherboard I/O board can also be accessed from the top, using L-shaped cables to place them out of sight and then down through the machine to the bottom. There’s also room for a compact Seasonic Focus SPX modular power supply in the top right corner. These units are rated at up to 750W, so there is plenty of power available for the components as well.

Being a prototype, the site notes the unfinished state of the machine, describing the use of tape to hide manufacturer logos and serial numbers, and it is clearly a long way from being finished. To our eyes, it doesn’t look particularly attractive at the moment either: it’s not going to beat the Apple iMac in looks. However, it shows the potential of building a powerful PC on the back of a monitor using the latest components and without having to use water cooling.
