Lainey Wilson Moved to Tears as Concert Fan Holds ‘We Survived Helene’ Sign

Fans saw Lainey Wilson get excited about Hurricane Helena last weekend during their concert in Alpharetta, Georgia.

He Singer of “Heart like a truck” She saw a sign in the crowd that said “We Survived Helene” and was moved to tears, according to posts on social media.

Wilson took a few moments to sit at the edge of the stage, add his signature to the sign and speak candidly to the crowd.

“We all know that North Carolina and a lot of other states have been through a lot, parts of Georgia in the last few weeks… man, I’m getting emotional,” Wilson said. “But I just want to say, tonight, a lot of you are probably dealing with the heartbreak of your friends and family, and my heart goes out to all of you, my team’s heart goes out to all of you.”

Wilson then walked into the crowd to grab a stack of tissues and wiped his face before continuing with the show.

“I want you to know tonight that I’m here for you and that we’re here for you, and that tonight we’re going to be in the moment, okay?” she said.

Wilson made a surprise visit to chimney rockNorth Carolina, on October 21 to deliver supplies, according to WBTV in Charlotte. She is one of many country singers who have been looking for ways to support the region. Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, James Taylor and other stars will perform in a Fundraising concert for Carolina in Charlotte on October 26.
