Travelers expect reinforcements Friday night due to another concert at the Lenovo Center during the final weekend of the North Carolina State Fair.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the Little Big Town concert at the home of the Carolina Hurricanes and the North Carolina State University men’s basketball team.

Doors for the concert open at 6 p.m.

During the fair’s opening weekend, road conditions were a nightmare due to fair traffic and the Sabrina Carpenter concert.

Fair officials encouraged all fairgoers to have a plan ahead of time.

“It’s going to be a very busy weekend at the fair,” said Heather Overton with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. “The best option is to park at Triangle Town Center or take a GoDurham bus and let them drive.”
