Two men in hospital after shooting in St. Denis neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two men are in the hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in the St. Denis neighborhood Friday night.

Louisville Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 3100 block of Melody Acres Lane around 6:15 p.m. on October 25. There, officers found a man who had been shot. Down the street on Marathon at the intersection of Rockford Lane and Cane Run Road, they found another man with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. The man at the Melody Acres Lane scene is in critical condition. The Marathon man is in serious condition.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is handling the investigation due to the severity of the injuries. They ask anyone with information to call 502-574-LMPD.
