Key Philadelphia 76ers will remain out of vs bulls

On Sunday, the chief coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, Nick Nurse, was hope that Justin Edwards could return to the equipment alignment for his confrontation on Monday night against the Chicago Bulls.

Unfortunately, that will not be the case. According to the official NBA injury report, Edwards has been discarded once again. The rookie is still dealing with an ankle injury, which occurred before the team returned to the court from the All-Star Break.

Last Tuesday, the Sixers held a practice session to start preparing for their battle against the Boston Celtics. Edwards twisted his ankle, which put his state in question.

Once the Sixers reached a diagnosis of Edwards, they discarded it for the next two games. The Sixers faced the Celtics and took a loss of 20 points. When they faced the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, Philly lost a stamp bowl, which allowed the Nets to win by two points.

When the Sixers practiced on Sunday, Edwards was a partial participant, which was a positive sign for their possible return to action. Nurse would not go as far as Edwards ruled out, but the rookie was not clear after all. Now, the early thing I could return is Wednesday, when the Sixers visit the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.

This season, Edwards has appeared in 25 games. He has been averaging eight points and three rebounds while fired 47 percent from the field and 36 percent of three.

With the Sixers according to a standard agreement with the former non-recruited two-way player, Edwards will be around the team and is available to play when he is healthy during the rest of the 2024-2025 season.
