Woman dies in accident in Choctaw County

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Ala. (OMC) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday on Singley Road, 2 miles south of Silas.

Patricia K. Lewis, 77, of Silas, was fatally injured when the 2017 Toyota Camry she was riding in collided with a 2006 International tractor-trailer driven by Daniel L. Harvison, 46, of Chatom.

The collision occurred at 7:15 am.

The driver of the Toyota, Dean S. Lewis, 80, of Silas, was injured and taken to Washington County Hospital in Chatom for treatment.
