Jeremy Clarkson ‘terrified’ after being told he could die from horror health problem | Celebrity News | Entertainment and television world

Television personality Jeremy Clarkson recently spoke out about a health crisis that led doctors to warn that his life could be in danger.

The former Top Gear presenter spoke about his experience in his Sunday Times column, telling how he was rushed into surgery after experiencing some of the alarming symptoms of a heart attack.

Jeremy revealed his ordeal began when he was on holiday after swimming in the Indian Ocean.

He began having difficulty with physical tasks such as climbing stairs, and his symptoms only worsened after he returned home.

When he began to feel tingling in his left arm, wetness and “tightness” in his chest, the presenter began to think about Alex Salmond’s fatal heart attack and decided to seek immediate medical attention.

After arriving at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital, Jeremy underwent a series of tests, including an electrocardiogram (ECG), blood tests and x-rays.

Although doctors initially ruled out a heart attack, a senior doctor ordered an in-depth examination that ultimately led to Jeremy being rushed into surgery.

Jeremy was told he had one artery completely blocked and another had a buildup restricting blood flow through his body.

He needed a stent placed in his blocked artery to open it and reduce the risk of a heart attack.

Although this entire experience would be alarming to most people, when reflecting on the surgery on his spine, Jeremy remained calm and joked that the health scare made him wonder “if it’s possible to make celery interesting.”

However, the business mogul admitted that he “came close” and seemed to have mortality on the brain more than before.

Since then, he has lamented the health measures he will have to take to ensure he is not put back in the hospital.

Jeremy told the Sun: “I literally can’t have fun anymore.

“If I go to a party, I have to stay in a corner, drinking a refreshing elderflower juice, before returning home around 9:30. That’s terrifying.”
