What did Erik ten Hag say?

During his press conference after Manchester United’s draw against Fenerbahce, the Dutchman stated that he had chosen to “deny” and “ignore” the match due to the red card shown to Fernandes.

“I deny that game, I ignore that game against Spurs because we were reduced to 10 with a 1-0 losing position… And then the red card was disallowed. So I totally ignore that game,” Ten Hag said via ESPN.

Fernandes’ red card was overturned on October 1 following an appeal. Fans on social media were not happy with these comments from their under-fire manager.
