Most Washington Commanders fans have high expectations against the New York Giants

East Rutherford, New Jersey — The Washington Commanders surpassed the New York Giants in Week 2 with a record seven field goals by kicker Austin Seibert.

The 21-18 victory was the Commanders‘ first win of the season and it was also a crucial victory in the NFC East Division. It also helped spark a winning trend for the team, as it has won six of its last seven, including the Week 2 contest.

Washington It’s much better now than it was then, but the Giants have also had time to learn and grow. Due to this fact, and despite the appearance of the New York runner Tyrone Tracy Jr., fans expect a two-point victory in favor of the burgundy and gold.

“We scored on Tuddys in this game,” said one fan. “Spilling it. 28 – 13 Washington.”

62 percent of fans who responded picked the Commanders to win by 10 or more points and another 35 percent predicted a win by 1 to 9 points. In total, 97 percent of those surveyed expect a victory for the visiting team, which is not a huge surprise, but not 100 percent either.

“Division game,” said another fan. “Stay alert.”

Good advice given the amount of pain New York has caused Washington over the years, especially in recent memory.

If the Commanders can pull off the win, they will not only move to 7-2 heading into back-to-back games against Pennsylvania’s NFL representation in Weeks 10 and 11. They will potentially set up a major contest two Thursdays from now, when Washington visits the Águilas for another divisional clash.
