Dangerous road rage crash on Cross Bronx Expressway caught on video

BRONX, NY – A road rage confrontation descended into chaos on the Cross Bronx Expressway last week, with two drivers exchanging multiple minor collisions in an apparent game of one-upmanship, according to images shared on social media.

The incident, which occurred near Exit 1 on Monday, was described as a “child’s game” by NYC Scoop, the account that posted the video online. Drivers appeared to repeatedly swerve and cut each other off, aggravating the situation and causing damage to their vehicles.

No injuries were reported, but the reckless behavior has drawn widespread condemnation for putting other drivers at risk. In the video, witnesses can be heard expressing disbelief at the drivers’ actions as traffic around them came to a near standstill.

The New York Police Department confirmed that they are aware of the incident and are investigating. It is not yet clear if any of the drivers have been identified or if charges will be filed.
