Auburn prison inmate threatened to kill 2 state judges in New York

Albany, NY – An inmate of the Auburn correctional center declared himself guilty on Tuesday to send a letter indicating that he planned to kill two New York judges who blamed for his prison, prosecutors said.

Christopher McCarty, 33, from Manhattan, admitted to having sent the letter to Governor Kathy Hochul in May 2023, while in prison, prosecutors said prosecutors of the United States prosecutor for the Northern District of New York.
