Hyderabad: Veljan’s group, MD Janardhan Rao, allegedly killed by Nieto by real estate dispute – India News

VC Janardhan Rao, president and managing director of the Veljan Group, was killed in his residence for Kirti tile his grandson for a real estate dispute according to the police. The incident took place on the night of February 6, when Kirti Teja attacked his grandfather with a knife, which led to his death at the point.

The defendant also attacked his mother while trying to intervene. He has also suffered injured and was admitted to a hospital, according to the Panjutta police. However, the defendant was arrested on Saturday. Teja and her mother, who reside in a different area of ​​the city, visited Rao’s house in Somajiguda on Thursday. While his mother went out to drink coffee, an argument broke out between tile and rao regarding the distribution of Rao’s property, according to the police.

Tile took a knife and “attacked” his grandfather, accusing him of neglecting him throughout his childhood and “refusing” to share the property with him, the police said, citing initial investigations. When asked about the reports that the victim was stabbed more than 70 times, the police confirmed that there were multiple white weapon wounds, but the exact number would be determined after the post mortem exam report (PME).

The defendant had recently returned to Hyderabad from the United States after completing his mastery, according to the police. After a complaint, a case of murder was filed against him and was arrested. The investigation is still ongoing.
