The former Spartan guard of the state of Michigan, Max Christie, has lit it absolutely as one of the newest members of the Dallas Mavericks and has obtained some praise of one of the best shooters of all time in the history of the NBA.

Christie was involved in one of the most shocking trades in the history of the NBA, being treated for the first time in her career, along with NBA striker Anthony Davis in exchange for the star guard Luka Doncic. The former Spartan has been nothing less than sensational since he joined the Mavericks.

After the defeat at home in extra time against the Sacramento Kings, Christie’s new teammate and four times NBA champion, Klay Thompson, spoke about how impressive the first performances of the second year guard .

“I have been incredibly impressed with Max (Christie), what a great addition,” said Thompson. “I have had great success with the boys of the state of Michigan in my career, and he is just another. When Thompson mentioned “Michigan State Guys”, he referred directly to the former teammate of Golden State Warrior and a Spartan legend Draymond Green. The couple won four championships together from 2015 to 22 before Thompson was changed to the Mavericks this last season.

The praise given by the future shooter of the Hall of Fame was not only a wink to Christie and Green, but to the entire basketball culture of the state of Michigan and how coach Tom Izzo prepares his boys for the next level. Few coaches can instill such a mentality in each of their players to prosper in the NBA.

The future of Christie’s NBA is extremely brilliant, and has multiple veterans to play, including Thompson and the championship experience he has won. It will be exciting to see the young star continue to grow and impress more from the league with her star shooting and her Spartan sand.
