Jamie Carragher has been tested just after Arne slot He took Ibrahima Konate at the break for collecting a yellow card against the wolves in the first half. During Sky’s sports coverage, Carragher pointed out the lack of attention of the defender when he picked up his fifth reserve of the season after judging a header.

Liverpool They led 2-0 at the break thanks to Luis Díaz’s goals and Mohamed Salah. Díaz made a race beyond the defender of the Wolves Emmanuel Agbadou before being stumbled by goalkeeper José Sa in the area for a penalty.

Salah did not make any mistakes from the point of penalty, scoring directly by the middle when SA dove. Moments before, however, Carragher suggested that Konate’s lack of approach led the French to collect an unnecessary reserve.

“It is a stupid Konate challenge, but it is not a yellow letter, only two players who go for a header and one comes there before the other,” Carragher said in Sky Sports. “I would be surprised if Konate goes out for the second half.”

He also pointed the same thing that happened in Goodison Park during the 2-2 draw with Everton Earlier this week. “It’s not a yellow card,” Carragher continued.

“Simply judges the header, Daft Challenge, although it is absolutely ridiculous. He has those Konate moments, it was also a bit like that on Wednesday night, he did not turn on for that free kick for the first goal against Everton.”

If the Liverpool beat the wolves, they will restore their seven-point advantage at the summit after Arsenal also claimed a 2-0 victory against Leicester City on Saturday.
