Mother of Club Q Shooter files a lawsuit against Colorado Springs police officers

Colorado Springs, Colorado (KKTV) – On Monday, Kosloski Law, PLLC, PLLC filed a 21 -page demand against five Springs Colorado Police officers, according to Kosloski’s law, PLLC.

Kosloski’s law said that Laura Voepel, mother of Anderson Aldrich, filed the claim on Monday in search of justice for the alleged “illegal search, unconstitutional seizure and excessive force inflicted on Mrs. Voepel by officers of the Colorado Police Department Springs during his response to the club to club P shooting. “

Five people died and almost two dozen people were injured after Aldrich opened fire at the Colorado Springs nightclub club in 2022.

The lawsuit states that after Aldrich was arrested that night, the officers entered the voepel house around 3:00 am, continues to say that Voepel had no knowledge of the shooting that was being prepared for bed. According to the lawyers, CSPD did not have an order to look for at home or eliminate anything from her.

The lawsuit continues to say that the officers locked VOEPEL out of their home in freezing conditions while they were looking for. He said that, according to the reports, he was barefoot and with oxygen at that time. Voepel was then arrested that morning for minor crimes for disorderly conduct and resistance to arrest. Both that Jason Kosloski, a voepel lawyer, said they were not constitutional.

“What we are claiming is that these officers exceed what they are allowed to do. Mrs. Voepel told them to leave again and again. She told them that she did not give her consent to look for her at home and the officers, essentially at each stop, ignored her and told her that they were going to do what they wanted to do … I think it is easy when something terrible happens to justify each Action that is performed in relation to the terrible. I think that what does to the United States is, is the fact that we have rules that are there, whatever happens, regardless of how bad situation. These rules must be followed, ”said Jason Kosloski, the lawyer.
