Man arrested under suspicion of murder attempt in Devon

A man has been arrested under suspicion of attempted murder after a man and a woman were seriously attacked.

The Devon and Cornwall police were called to an incident in Newton Abbot, Devon, near the White Hart pub in East Street at 00:50 GMT.

The woman in her 40 years and the man in her 50s were treated in the hospital for injured, according to the officers, did not change their lives or did not change their lives.
