According to a Navbharat Times report, Udit Narayan claimed that Ranjana Jha was trying to extort him. For the context, a case was filed against the singer in the Bihar Women’s Commission. The report said that UDIT was providing financial support to JHA with a monthly assignment of 15,000 rupees that increased to RS 25,000. He also gave him farmland, a house worth RS 1 crore, and jewels worth 25 Lakh.

However, Ranjana accused Udit of keeping RS 18 Lakh from the sale of his land. He also claimed that during his visits to Mumbai, he has been receiving threats that left her without security. In addition, he shared that as he ages and his health decreases, he wants to spend his remaining years with UDIT.
