IMPRESSED ACID ATTACK IN PLYMOUTH SPARKS POLICE MANHUNT

A person has been seriously injured in an acid attack in Plymouth, police said.

Devon and Cornwall police said the officers went to a property in Lipson Road around 03:55 GMT on Friday after they received reports that two people made their way and assaulted the occupant.

Police said it had been confirmed that acid was used during the attack and that the victim was taken to the hospital.

The incident was being treated as a “directed attack” and the searches of the two suspects were underway, a police spokesman said.
