Man (30 years) loaded in relation to CODE HIT AND RUN

Now you must appear before the Naas district court later next month

A man who had been arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a coup and career incident in Code has been accused.

The man, about 30 years old, had been arrested in relation to the blow of a single vehicle and collision in Derrymullen, Co Kildare, on Sunday morning, February 2.

Since then he has been accused and released from custody.

Now he must appear before the Naas district court later next month.

The pedestrian, about 40, was hit by a vehicle that could not remain in the scene.

It was taken by ambulance to the hospital with what was described as “serious non -mortal injuries.”

“At approximately 11.15 am Gardaí and emergency services responded to a single vehicle blow and executed a collision in the R415,” said a Garda spokesman in a previous statement.

Gardaí issued an appeal so that the witnesses of the incident are presented at that time.

Any road user who can have camera images (including the board of board) and who travel through the area at that time must make this image available to investigate Gardaí.
