Mass. The State Police attacked during arrests of 3 minors

The state soldiers of Massachusetts were assaulted in Boston on Thursday when more than a dozen people tried to intervene in the arrests of three people put the soldiers in a head key, they hit them and kicked them, police authorities said.

“These people physically prevented the police from arresting, used dangerous lockeras and other force that caused injuries,” said Massachusetts state police spokesman in a statement on Friday night. “Violence against the police who carry out their work to protect our communities from illegal armed violence will not be tolerated.”

Boston police officers helped to quell the scene and arrested a youth and an adult. The Massachusetts State Police arrested another minor. The authorities did not publish the name of the adult.

One was wanted for possession of a firearm, and another was armed with a knife, state police said.

The event chain began in Roxbury around 3 pm, when the soldiers and officers patrolled together approached two “youthful men” who believed they armed with firearms, police said.

While the police arrested a 17 -year -old boy for illegal possession of a gun, the second minor fled and threw a gun. Police registered but could not find it, according to the statement.

A short time later, Boston police sent a “shots.” The description of the alleged shooter coincided with the description of the child who had fled before, according to the statement.

In the shooting area, the soldiers saw three men enter a restaurant. The men left and went to a parked car to avoid the police, according to the authorities.

When the soldiers withdrew the men from the vehicle, the men combined and assaulted the soldiers, according to the statement.

“While the soldiers tried to arrest the men, more than a dozen people converged to contain them on the ground, hit them and kick them to avoid more arrests,” according to the state police statement.

The incident remains under investigation and the authorities “can chase other people involved,” said the State Police.
