Cincinnati (WXIX) – Cincinnati’s police say they are on the scene investigating after a child was beaten by a vehicle and seriously hurt Monday morning.

It happened around 8 am near the intersection of Linn Street and West Eighth Street in Queensgate, according to Lieutenant Jonathan Cunningham, a police spokesman.

The child was taken in an ambulance to Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital in Avondale, he added.
