Prosecutors say that Solomon was working as the club’s executive director in 2017 and, at some point, they began to transfer money from the organization to their own bank accounts. Among the checks that was supposedly stolen was a donation of $ 50,000 that the Curries made in 2019 in the Ellen Degeneres show, as part of the “Night of Gifts of Ellen” of Ellen “, according to the user prosecutor’s office.

Solomon supposedly used the money from the boxing club for a large amount of personal expenses, including a vacation rental property, a Ford Explorer and Amazon items, said the lawyer’s office.

Solomon is also accused of presenting fake tax statements from 2018 to 2021, the year left the non -profit organization, to hide the embezzlement, the agency said.

The charges were presented on February 26.
