Springfield local school district officials say that grieving advice is available after the death of one student’s traffic and another’s injury.

A two -vehicle accident in Springfield killed a new woman from Middletown and a teenage passenger, and seriously injured a man from Struthers on Monday night

According to the state patrol of the state of Ohio, Angela Brown, 44, of New Middletown, died at the scene of the accident on state route 170, just north of New Middletown.

Two youth passengers in Brown’s car were transferred to a hospital where a 15 -year -old boy died. The second passenger, a 12 -year -old boy, appeared in critical condition. Both are students in the Springfield school system.

Springfield’s local schools have published the following statement:

Our Springfield community suffered an unimaginable tragedy with the death of a student and his mother last night. We offer our deepest condolences to the family while we continue to pray for the recovery of the second student. In our time of sadness, we are committed to creating a safe space for students and staff to cry and process their emotions through the help of additional directors and support personnel. In the next few days and weeks, we will advance delicate, sensitive and respectful.

Soldiers have not published children’s names.

Walter A. Bolt, 59, from Struthers, the driver of a Chevrolet Colorado truck, was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital in Youngstown with serious injuries.

The accident occurred just before 8 pm when the truck to the south of Bolt went to the left of the center and hit a Honda Accord 2004 in the north direction driven by Brown, said the patrol. The agreement overturned and stopped in a ditch, and the Colorado came to rest partially off the road.

The patrol said the four people did not wear seat belts.

Alcohol seems to be a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation, said the patrol.

“He had dragged the speech, blood eyes, glassy eyes, the strong smell of alcoholic beverage came from him. Several open cans of alcoholic beverages were located in the vehicle, ”said Sergeant Patrick Abel of the Ohio State Road Patrol over Bolt.

The researchers said the charges will be presented against Bolt.

The road, closed during the investigation, has sincerely reopened.
